The concept evolved from a simple rectangular box large enough to host ten video-art posters, symbolizing the festival’s “10 Posters = 10 Films” theme. Through a sequence of design moves—cut, shift, and push—the form splits, rotates, and lowers to create two open entrances and dynamic interior volumes. The pavilion’s geometry invites visitors to pass through, discover, and linger among glowing video works that animate the public realm.
Constructed with readily available materials—timber posts, pallets, rope, and painted MDF panels—the design prioritizes economy, simplicity, and reuse. Prefabrication enables rapid on-site construction and easy disassembly after the event. Its bright colors and recognizable shape strengthen the visual identity of FOKUS, turning a temporary installation into a civic landmark of creativity and participation.
