The design’s infinity-shaped loop frames Hobbemaplein, uniting its monuments, vegetation, and public life. Its continuous form defines two zones—one urban and active, the other green and reflective—creating a spatial balance between energy and calm. The gesture embodies connection across cultures and generations.
Made from lightweight, demountable elements, the sculpture can adapt to future changes in traffic or urban layout. Integrated lighting enhances safety and atmosphere without disturbing nearby residents. The Infinity Loop is both artwork and urban furniture—a symbol of continuity within The Hague’s dynamic social fabric.
