The future of a city takes shape through conversation as well as design. At Urban October Muscat 2025, ENTROPIC connected with ministry leaders, developers, consultants and fellow practitioners working towards Oman’s Vision 2040.
Walkable cities, climate resilience and urban innovation were central to the exchange. For our practice, these questions bring architecture, landscape and urban design into the same discussion: how places can grow while retaining a meaningful relationship with their climate, culture and heritage.
The event created opportunities to connect across disciplines, from infrastructure and planning to architecture and policy. We leave the dialogue encouraged by the shared ambition to shape more considered urban environments, and look forward to continuing conversations with the Ministry of Housing & Urban Planning and colleagues across the region.
The photographs show the event’s panel discussions and exhibition setting; they do not identify other exhibitors’ work as ENTROPIC projects.
