The existing diagram moves from scattered elements to a shared order. Read as an architectural idea, it expresses the project's ambition to gather different paths and lives around a common centre. At Madinah Grand Mosque, the journey toward prayer is also a journey toward one another. Civic space and spiritual space are conceived as connected, not competing worlds.

The rose is translated into architecture through layering, rhythm, and filtered light. Its petal logic becomes a fa9ade system that softens the monumentality of the mosque while giving it a distinct Madinah identity.

THE ROSE / ARCHITECTURAL TRANSLATION
A Rose, Held in Light.
The rose is not applied as an emblem. Its unfolding becomes a way of thinking about architecture: layers rather than a single surface, rhythm rather than repetition alone, light filtered through a veil. The drawing and the architectural view place that translation side by side. An intimate natural form becomes the starting point for a larger spatial presence.

The Rose Garden
The rose garden is reinterpreted as an inhabited architecture of layered petals, voids, and thresholds. The project transforms the garden into a spatial system, where volumes unfold around the body and guide movement toward prayer.

FORM BECOMES EXPERIENCE
Petal. Threshold. Horizon.
Three drawings describe one unfolding idea. The petal establishes a layered edge; the inhabited garden turns that edge into space; the vertical garden carries it toward the sky. The sequence is a story of passage rather than a catalogue of objects. Architecture and landscape are conceived together, giving the journey from city to courtyard to prayer a continuous character.

Inhabiting the Vertical Garden
The rose garden rises through the mosque as elevated terraces, shaded balconies, and inhabited edges. Landscape is no longer limited to the ground; it becomes a vertical public realm connecting the city, courtyard, prayer spaces, and sky.

LANDSCAPE / THE VERTICAL PUBLIC REALM
Between Courtyard and Sky.
The garden is imagined beyond the ground. Terraces, balconies and inhabited edges carry landscape through the mosque, connecting the courtyard to its upper levels. These are spaces between destinations: places to look back toward the city, encounter another person or pause before moving on. The proposal gives the monument an inhabited horizon, where collective life and moments of reflection can coexist.
